Departure from the Valley of 72 Waterfalls

Lauterbrunnen's setting is unlike anywhere else in Switzerland. Surrounded by sheer rock walls and dozens of waterfalls—including the famous Staubbach Falls—the valley feels almost theatrical. As your train departs, you'll leave behind green meadows and chalet-dotted landscapes while heading deeper into the heart of the Bernese Alps.

A ride aboard the Wengernalp Railway

Travel on the Wengernalp Railway, the world's longest continuous rack railway. The route climbs steadily through alpine pastures, traditional mountain villages, and open meadows, revealing ever-changing views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. Large windows make this one of the most scenic rail journeys in the region.

Kleine Scheidegg: Beneath the Eiger

Before the final ascent, pause at Kleine Scheidegg, one of Switzerland's most famous mountain passes. Set directly beneath the imposing Eiger North Face, this viewpoint offers some of the closest and most dramatic mountain panoramas in the Jungfrau region, with peaks rising in every direction.

The historic Jungfrau Railway

Opened in 1912 after more than 16 years of construction, the Jungfrau Railway remains one of Switzerland's greatest engineering achievements. The cogwheel train climbs through tunnels carved inside the Eiger and Mönch mountains, turning the journey itself into part of the attraction.

Arrival at the Top of Europe

At 3,454m above sea level, Jungfraujoch combines high-alpine scenery with unique attractions. Walk through the Ice Palace, take in glacier views from the Sphinx Observatory, step onto the snow-covered Plateau, and gaze across the UNESCO-listed Aletsch Glacier—the longest glacier in the Alps.
