Things to Do at Jungfraujoch

The Alpine Sensation is located in the 250-meter-long corridor between the Sphinx Hall and the Ice Palace. This walkway recounts the countless sacrifices made by miners in building the Jungfraubhan. The enormous snow globe at the end reflects the daily life of the Jungfrau Region and Switzerland.

The Glacier Plateau is a viewing platform 10 minutes away from the Jungfraujoch railway station. From here you can marvel at the Black Forest and the Vosges on one side and the Aletsch Glacier and the Eiger and Monch peaks surrounding it on the other side.

There’s never such a thing as too much chocolate. Visitors can learn how a bar of Lindt chocolate is made from the interactive Maîtres Chocolatiers at Lindt Chocolate Heaven. The shop also offers a wide selection of Lindt chocolates and other delicacies.

The Jungfrau Panaroama is a 360-degree 4-minute video that lets you experience the magnificence of the Jungfrau and its surrounding peaks. The Jungfrau Panorama is a surreal experience and lets you enjoy the snowy vistas and tall peaks virtually.

Mönchsjoch Hut (Mönchsjochhütte) is the highest hut in the Alpine region and offers great views of the surroundings. Once inside, you can dig into traditional Swiss cuisine. It takes about 45 minutes to hike from Jungfraujoch to Mönchsjoch Hut, but is advised for people with good physical fitness. Note that it is shut from October to March.
